Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification, Gas Technician or Gas Fitter Trade Certification (under 400,000 BTU's), Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate, Driver's License
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Languages: English is must, other languages are asset
Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems: Rooftop (self-contained), Centrifugal cooling, Heat pump, Filtration, Air motioning and circulation, Built up (split system), Humidification and de-humidification systems, Ventilation
Control Systems: Energy conservation, Electrical devices, and Pneumatic devices
Specific Skills: Perform routine maintenance and servicing, Interpret gas codes, Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, Install, calibrate and repair control systems
Additional Skills: Service clientele, Coach and instruct apprentices
